THE HEAT, THE HEAT

In the desert in seventy two
I heard a camel singing tenor.
It turned to me and said quite clearly
You wouldn't credit it
would you?
matey.

SALAD DAZE

This afternoon I sifted through
those old and stained brown photos.
You and the others looked so good,
but I looked pathetic
dressed in my p.e. kit.

GREAT CRAIC

I was sitting at home with a headache
and trying to stay in the quiet,
when I heard the neighbours chorusing
'We wish you a merry migraine ....'
