VENITE RIDICULAMUS

Many a martyr was made that day
as arrows landed in heart after heart,
but the one that flew my way
in the fading hours
missed.

BEING A MAN

Like most men
I rarely cry.
Only when I'm really upset.
Mornings mostly.
Lunchtimes.
Then two till about five thirty.
Half the night.
